What do you want patrons of the Symphony to know about you?
my husband is harpist [the principal harpist with The Naples Philharmonic] and also my 84-year-old mother started playing harp 15 years ago. We have big collection of harps including Harpo Marx’s harp.
What would you be doing if you weren’t a professional musician?
I like to make things or design things. So a visual artist or an architect.
What do you do in your spare time (other than practice!)?
Spend time with our three dogs, knitting, crochet, fusing glass, origami, weaving, felting, fixing harps ,fixing houses, gardening and traveling. I am always doing things.
What is your favorite thing about being a professional musician?-
playing with wonderful musicians and traveling.
What sport(s) do you participate in?
Is dog Frisbee a sport??

Attended the Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and the Conservatoire National Superieur de Musique de Paris where she graduated with the Premier Prix in 1983.
