The Jacksonville Symphony Youth Orchestras hold competitive auditions each spring to form its membership for the following school year. 

Auditions generally consist of: 
       ● A solo piece
       ● Scales
       ● Sight-reading 

Philharmonic and Repertory Orchestra auditions also include: 
       ● Arpeggios (in addition to scales)
       ● Orchestral excerpts
